Scholarships can come from many places. Here are popular scholarships available to Dreamers and Undocumented students, such as:

Future OSU Students

There are specific scholarships incoming students can be considered for upon Admissions. They need to be entering OSU during a fall term, have a completed application by the February 1st priority deadline, and complete the scholarship section on the Admission application. Current OSU Students

Each major on campus is a part of a college and each college manages their own scholarships. These scholarships are available to current OSU students. The scholarship applications are usually available in fall term and due during the winter term. The awards are usually for the following academic year, though a student should check with their department! Learn more about these opportunities!

In addition, all undocumented students regardless can now apply for the Oregon Student Access and Completion (OSAC) scholarships. OSAC awards more than $18 million in scholarships annually. Awards range from $1,000 to $10,000 or more. You don't need to be a merit scholar or a student with financial need to apply. OSAC administers more than 500 scholarship programs, and you may qualify, but you won't know unless you apply!

Along with the OSAC scholarship application, students who have lived in Oregon for at least 12 months should complete the Oregon Student Aid Application (ORSAA) so financial need can be assessed and used for scholarship consideration. These are two separate applications, but completing them both is very important! Students should complete the ORSAA every year, as it becomes available in October for the following academic year.

Tuition Equity students can apply, through OSAC for the Ford Family Scholarship programs, which covers up to 90% of tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, personal, and transportation.

Applications open in November every year with a deadline of March--awards are given for the following academic year, so plan ahead!
